What is Reiki and what is it helpful for?
A short overview of how Reiki works can be found here: Reiki | Complementary and alternative therapy | Cancer Research UK
What to expect during the session?
45 or 60min relaxation on a massage bed (Reiki and forehead together), a soft blanket, meditation music, candles and essential oils (not necessary if preferrable). You are fully clothed but shoes need to be off.
Detailed outline provided upon booking.
The restorative nature of the forehead and temple massage
Designed to alleviate tensions, which we often hold in our foreheads. Gentle pressure is applied with finger tips across your forehead, in between your brows and on the temples. Essential oils are used, but are not necessary if you are sensitive to smells. It is known to provide a relief from stress and enable relaxation. Your massage will be added to the Reiki session.
Testimonials
“I’m new to Reiki. Katrina explained things well and made me feel very relaxed. I really enjoyed the experience and slept very well afterwards.” Eva
“From the moment I arrived, Katrina made me feel completely at ease, her presence and treatment space were both calm and welcoming. What truly stood out, was her ability to hold space for me. I felt seen, supported, and safe to fully relax and let go. The session itself was incredibly powerful yet gentle. There was a real sense of presence and intuition in her approach, she knew intuitively exactly what I needed. I left that part of the session feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded. Then came the massage… absolutely divine!!! It was the perfect compliment to the energy work, flowing, intuitive, and deeply relaxing. Every movement felt intentional, and I could feel tension melting away with each touch. By the end, I was in a state of complete calm, like my whole body had reset. This was more than just a treatment, it was a truly restorative experience. I left feeling balanced, nurtured, and genuinely cared for. I’ll definitely be returning and would wholeheartedly recommend Katrina to anyone looking for both healing and deep relaxation.” Hannah
“I went to Katrina to try out Reiki for the first time as quite a sceptical customer. Katrina had explained what would happen during the session very well but I really didn’t know what I expected to get from it. What a wonderful surprise I had; a relaxing, peaceful experience allowing me to totally unwind from the stresses of life. Loved it!!” Ruth
“Katrina is a practitioner whom you instantly feel at ease with. She is able to explain everything and makes sure you are comfortable in your surroundings.
I can only echo other testimonials. Such a relaxing time in my busy life, I didn’t want it to end! The warmth from Katrina’s hands was amazing, lingering after her hands had moved was suprising, and the relaxing effects on my body welcomed. To finish the wonderful touch to my forehead and temples was magical. I can highly recommend this treatment.”

“As a busy mum of 3, I often convince myself to ignore the aches and pains and plough on. But when I chose to treat myself to a Reiki session with Katrina, I knew I’d made the right decision to listen to my body and give it the time and attention it deserves. She put me at ease, explaining the process and allowing me to choose how I wanted to experience the treatment. I could genuinely feel the heat and vibrations coming from her hands during the session and even experienced relief from chronic pain long enough to allow me the kind of deep sleep I’d not enjoyed for some time. At the end of the 45 minute treatment, I was gently woken with a temple and head massage, relieving me of any left over tension. Having enjoyed my own little sanctuary, I left feeling realigned and renewed. 🙏🏻” Lyndsey
